    Overall, it’s a nice hand guard. I’m giving 3 stars for 2 reasons…
    1. The hand guard slipped away from the receiver after about 60 rounds. It’s held in place by 2 small screws. Not good.
    2. When I ordered it from Anderson, they did not send me the mounting hardware (screws, quick detach mount) I contacted them and they mailed me the screws but didn’t send the quick detach mounts. Very poor attention to detail on shipping part.
It’s a nice hand guard otherwise. Get your act together Anderson!

Did receive my forearm, very sturdy and solid great feel, very easy to install and well worth the investment. I do recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great upgrade to their rifle.

I recently purchased this rail for a 300 Blackout build, it’s a solid piece, but there’s a few things that can use some refinement. Some weight relief holes can help take off some weight, not the lightest rail. The edges of the rail panels @ the 3,6 & 9 feel a bit sharp. Not to the point where they’d cut you but uncomfortably crisp. Lastly the barrel nut can be properly torqued using a castle nut wrench like the BCM KMR. It would have been nice to know this before spending $15 on the proprietary wrench.

Purchased this handgaurd from a local gun shop just trying to get a rifle finished for my dad’s birthday. After installing the handgaurd the old man has a slick looking AR that i can see myself replicating in the near future!

I just bought the A2 Skeletonized Semiautomatic Tactical Rifle and would like to use this free float kit with it. I just want to know if I will need a low profile gas block or will the standard gas block work?

    • Tom Steffner

      Low profile

@ Tom Steffner I’m assuming that any of the low profile .750 gas blocks would work or does it have to be the steal .750?

Purchased this handguard to upgrade an AR that I won in drawing. The fit and finish are perfect. I will be purchasing different length ones for other rifles that I have, or I’m in the process of assembling.
