I have been nothing but impressed with Anderson lowers. I was apprehensive because of the low cost, but so far they have been of high quality. I have a couple hundred rounds through the build at this point. No issues. By the way, I ordered “in the white” but received anodized. Had to blast it off anyway for Cerakote. Buy with confidence.

I have 6 other Anderson closed trigger guard lowers, all pre-anodized. I just ordered 3 of these unfinished ones to build up in silver – clear anodizing, stainless barrels, NiB bolts & chrome small parts. Super cool, right? You don’t really get to see the craftsmanship of a company when buying finished parts: the anodizing process can hide machine marks, blems, etc. Anderson must use quality tooling operated by skilled machinists as these lowers look more like fine jewelry that gun parts. There’s no machine marks in the mag well & those in the fcg pocket can only be seen with a magnifying glass. I’m glad Anderson offers these “in-the-white” parts so those of us who want to apply a custom finish or do some custom machining can do so on a fresh receiver.
