Is the gas tube length dpms or armalite spec?

Great barrel, Great Price. Matches up good to the 24″ 416R SS Fluted 5.56 barrel.
I just wish it would have stated it needs a special gas block and where to get it. Or better yet, included it with the barrel. I have several .936 gas blocks (micro, railed, steel, aluminum) and none put the gas tube high enough to clear the barrel. Will have to wait till I can find something that works to complete the build and see how it shoots.

Awesome, great for long range target shooting. Test it at 500 yds with high quality ammo and stay under 1 moa ……i wll increase distance and i expect the same results. I saw a difference with regular ammo and the spread was little bit more but tight enough to be accurate.great barrel for the money campares to more expensive barrel i have. You will he amazed

    • Michael Johnson

Received this barrel and discovered that it was .750 gas block diameter and threaded for muzzle device. Great quality and happy with it. Just thought that others would like to now that it varied from the description.

Just purchased this barrel for a customers build, cannot locate the proper gas block for this barrel. A specialty gas block should have been included with the barrel. This barrel requires a gas block with a higher gas tube port to clear the barrel shoulder. Any help to locate one would be greatly appreciated. I cannot rate it because I cannot use it yet.
