I bought one of these for my 2nd AR15 build. The fit and finish was perfect. You will find no better barrel for the money than an Anderson Manufacturing barrel. Shipping was quick and flawless.

Just installed on an H-Bar rifle build, using all Anderson Mfg parts of course. I would have preferred a 1-8 twist rate, but since 90% of the rounds will employ the standard 55gr FMJ pill, it won’t be a problem. This barrel paired with the 14.5″ rifle tube is a great package. Light, strong and sleek looking too!

Great barrel. I’ve shot 1/2″ inch groups with cheap 55g bullets. Fit and finish was good and no issues installing on Anderson upper. I would have preferred a 1/8 twist. I’ve tested 77g bullets only out to 300yds. but no tumbling at that distance. My rig has a 15″ Midwest quad rail (desert color) and I painted my upper and lower with Brownells Alumihide. Good cheap paint and my rig looks pissa all desert color except barrel and optics. I have a YHM phantom. Most of my parts are Anderson and I’ve been happy with everything that I bought from them. I wish they would produce cooler quad rails like Midwest or YHM and I wouldn’t have to buy anything elsewhere.

So far so good. Installed this barrel for a coyote rig. All Anderson parts minus the tube and flash hider. 1/2 MOA groups with some custom vmax loads. My only complaint….its gosh darn cold in Wisconsin right now to sit outside for more then ten min at a time. Have parts list ready for 300 Blackout. Which will also be all Anderson components. Thanks for a great product, and the 2015 line up looks great too!

I just received this barrel in the mail and my question is the line up pin on the barrel should it go in the groove with ease or will it need to be forced in with the barrel nut? Thanks

I own the .308 HBAR and dropped it on a mk11 build, outstanding performance. I know THIS barrel (5.56) won’t do too much with 77gr but how about 62gr? And would there be an advantage over the traditional 18″ for an SPR build, other than the obvious velocity gain?

I purchased this barrel, BCG and all realated parts to build a rifle.
Order was processed and shipped very quickly.
#1 the bolt had sharp edges on the ware surfaces. The bolt could not be used
Before I took a fine stone to it a removed them, I feel that there could be a
Better workmanship and inspection before they ship.
#2 I finished the build the rifle would not lock back after the last round was fired. I checked out everything.
Further inspection it was under gassed. The hole in the barrel was not drilled out correctly
Meaning the bit would not even go through the hole, drilled it out to correct size .093.
Still would not lock back. I drilled it out to the next size the rifle works perfect.
The plus this barrel shoots .75 MOA with my reloads

To anyone who buys any manufacturers products this can happen, inspect the parts
    Will I buy again yes
