Why do you guys give low ratings for asking a question????????????? Just contact them via email or is that to hard? Anderson products are great products, I have several builds using their parts and they have been great. The price point is also outstanding. Please leave the reviews for reviews. Thank you!
Jbrooks –
I just bought this barrel to finish my first build and my first AR. I am very pleased with the finish and detail that Anderson has put into this barrel. Thank you Anderson for a great barrel at an affordable price.

WHAT IS THE COATING ON THIS BARREL WHERE IT’S NOT STAINLESS? IS IT PARKERIZED, NITRIDED, OR MELONITE?

First time at the range with this barrel and wow, I’m just amazed!! One of my most accurate rifles!! Very well made and looks great!
Michael Johnson –
Awesome
Glad to hear.

Great barrel for the price. Obviously attractive looking, everyone compliments the look of my barrel. It is heavier than average. It didn’t seem to like steal cased Tulammo. No complaints otherwise
Michael Johnson –
Thanks for the feedback..
Dylan –
Is this melonite lined

I like the look of this barrel can I buy this barrel with RF85. Or can I buy the barrel and send it off to get the RF85. When I get it back I can upgrade my AM15 RF85

I love this barrel it was a great price and shipping was super fast I ordered it on Sunday and got it on Tuesday. It makes the AR I just finished building with look awesome. I will definitely be recommending Anderson to all my friends for the parts for their AR builds
Jason Hayes –
Me and my buddy have this barrel matched with all Anderson parts, this barrel WILL NOT SHOOT, we shot off a lead sled with multiple match grade ammo from 55 grain all the way to 78 just looking for answers!!At 100 hundred yards we are lucky to group inside the size of a volley ball. Any suggestion would be great.?.?….

I believe my comment was removed somehow. I’d asked, if this particular barrel design might be available in a 24 inch length in the future? If so I would be very interested in that,
Tom Steffner –
No Sir
Brandon Ross –
Is this barrel offered in 1-7 or 1-8 twist, or just the 1-9?
Tom Steffner –
1-9 only
Jayson –
best looking barrel on the market backed with the Anderson name. Gave my AR a custom look and when people see it they are amazed.
Johnny B –
Can i use a set screw gas block on this barrel? More specifically a troy industries low profile set screw gas block?
Michael Johnson –
yes you can.
The barrel does not have the holes but you can still use it
Scott –
Is there any way to order this barrel, or something really close to it, in a non-threaded, target crown version? Please say yes. Pretty please. With sugar on top.
Tom Steffner –
No Sir
Manny –
Is there any way to get this in 18″ (stainless bear claw) ?
Michael Johnson –

HI Tom,
I would like to know if I can order this Brar Claw barrel with RF-85. If not can I buy the barrel then send it to the lab to have the RF-85 applied.
Thank You. George Forman
Jed Mercer –
Does this barrel come with a gas block and tube? I’m building another .223 and wanted to know for what parts I need to order.
matthew –
This is the second barrel, after returning the first one due to not cycling brass, .223, or 5.56. Took almost a month and a half to get a replacement barrel and it shot twice and then locked up my bolt carrier. (I did shoot a few through another rifle to insure it wasn’t the ammo)Took me several hours to get it loose. Broke my BCM charging handle off trying to free it. I have had great luck with several anderson barrels. Unfortunately this one has left me sour.
Michael Johnson –
if there are still some issues please email support and we can see what we can do for you on this barrel
Thank you
Greg –
How is the rifling created? Are the cut or forged?
Michael Johnson –
these are button rifled
