Excellent price for the this quality .308 barrel with M4 style feed ramps. Barrel is just short of a piece of art.

Very nice barrel for the price. Used it for Aero M5 build and everything went together smoothly except a standard mid length gas tube was to short. After researching, I found the Armalite AR10 carbine gas tube was the length I needed. Now lets see what this budget barrel will do:)

Great barrel, great deal (as always!)
Threaded for any 5/8-24 muzzle device – including suppressors, DPMS platform chamber extension, you won’t find a better deal!!

I’m on my third build and each of my barrels have come from Anderson. This barrel is absolutely beautiful. Well crafted, very clean, and fits PERFECTLY

Loved the barrel, but I did have a question. Is this barrel rated for 7.62×51 as well?

I bought on of these barrels for a build, and as others have said it looks and fits great and the price is great too. No one has said a thing about accuracy though. For a budget barrel like this I don’ t expect sub MOA accuracy but the performance with this barrel was dismal to say the least. This thing was all over the paper at 100 yards and wouldn’t shoot anything resembling a group, making it impossible to sight in the scope! I’ve built many AR platform rifles and am a certified police armorer so I know what I’m doing. The barrel was installed properly and the scope was mounted properly also. This barrel just doesn’t shoot worth a darn! I’m extremely disappointed in what I received!

Question. Is this barrel stamped 308 Win or 7.62×51 NATO? Either way. Is this built to spec for the NATO chamber pressures? Thanks
Michael Johnson –
These are stamped 308 win

I have the same experience with Lawrence. It was all over the place at 100 yards. Zeroed at 50 yards with 2 inch groups using 147gr M80 Prvi Partizan with an Elcan Spectre DR. I’m pretty puzzled of the results. This ammo is sub MOA at 100 yards on my Ruger Precision Rifle.
